(another link) ;o) I was at an emergency medicine conference this past weekend, holy cow, u wouldn't believe how many different companies are out there with the Digibill idea. They were using all kinds of handheld comps which track a pateint thru an ER visit , all the way thru a whole hospital admission. All notes, labs etc...get synced with big mainframes and visa versa. And this is only at an ER convention. It was nice to see the technology, knowing it will be in my hands, but very discouraging knowing that PABN has something like it and doing nothing with it. They are definitly behind the pac with this venture. ragingbull.com
