<<Anyone see Iomega news this morning? They are pushing back Jaz2 sales until the first quarter of 1998 because of reliability issues>>

I don't know where you got your education from, however, when I read the press relese, I got the impression the delay was due to further quality testing. I found this as welcome news to avoid a repeat of the rumors and some problems regarding the original Jaz. Just look at how long the laptop Zip took to get introduced to the market.

Iomega had two options. One was to go about it the same rout Syquest took in intorudcing the SparQ, evident when they shipped a sample drive to a jounalist so he can evaluate it. And we all know the outcome of story. Or, delay the drive and conduct further testing and make sure that all bases are covered from day one.

If you don't know what kind of management is working at IOM by now, than your better off not making such posts.
