That is strange, that they'd hire a CPA to handle investor relations, so maybe you're on to something. On the other hand, if they were really expecting a healthy buyout, I doubt we'd see so many insiders rushing to dump all their option-exercise shares (for a little fun pop over to the Yahoo board and watch them seethe over THAT). Maybe the "Mergers and Acquisitions" part of Almond's job means he has to figure out how to turn a profit from Zix's acquisitions (PocketScripts and Elron) and then take the heat (Investor Relations) when he fails.
