Jimmy Carter GAVE UP the panama canal ! Man you really need to go back to school.

I know he did. But we still have a large military presence there and the 1989 invasion was partly done to reinforce our domination over Panama. Like, who the hell are we to go in and invade a soverign country and take their leader? Like we would stand for someone doing that to us? Drug trafficking actually increased in Panama after Noreiga was bagged.
