PalmSource Conference 2000: Fourth Annual Forum for Leading Handheld Computing Platform
SANTA CLARA, Calif., Oct. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Palm, Inc. (Nasdaq: PALM) today announced it will host PalmSource™ conference 2000, its fourth annual conference for the Palm OS(R) platform, Dec. 12-15 at the Santa Clara Convention Center. Expected to be the largest Palm conference to date, PalmSource conference 2000 will provide attendees with platform technology presentations, industry perspectives, Palm™ and licensee product showcases, interactive labs and stimulating keynote addresses. Attendees will network with other consumer, web and education developers, licensees, enterprise managers and solution providers, IT managers, VARs and system integrators, as well as key members of the Palm marketing, engineering and executive teams.

The PalmSource conference 2000 will span four days and feature more than 150 hours of keynote speeches, break-out sessions and interactive labs. Keynote speakers will include technology luminaries James Burke and Paul Saffo. Burke, world-renowned creator of a record-breaking television documentary series and a best-selling author, will touch upon innovation in tomorrow's technology. Saffo, director of the Institute for the Future and prominent thought leader in the areas of technology and social change, will offer his viewpoint on the ways handheld computing will change the way we live in a wireless world.
