In effect the USA IS negotiating with Arafat. Don't get me wrong. I would love to see a just peace between Israel and the Arabs. But the decades of Arab violence against Jews, and the unwillingness of the Arabs to compromise, leads me to be very sceptical of Arab intentions this time too. Hopefully this is the Arabs LAST chance.
