I agree. The Swift Boat stuff is an excellent example of
how the elite liberal media still are a bunch of
hypocrites. Look at how they reported every lie about
Bush's service when there was almost no evidence to
support the slanderous smear campaign from the left. The
elite liberal media made it headline news for weeks at a
time & they too questioned Bush's credibility, again on
nearly ZERO evidence.

Now look at the swift boat vets - 250+ strong, replete
with documentary evidence & sworn affidavits. Their
charges are specific & well supported. Add to it that
Kerry has made his 4 months in a swift boat as the
centerpiece of his campaign.

How has the elite liberal media covered the story? They
have hardly covered it at all. When they do report on it,
it is with contempt as though it is a right wing (or Bush
led) smear campaign. They don't report on the specific
charges. They don't challenge Kerry's reluctance to
release all documentation about his service time. They
don't cover the fact that Kerry has yet to adequately
refute any of the allegations.

Yes, folks like us who are internet savvy who search
beyond the liberal media for the whole story know what is
going on. That is good, but there tens of millions of
Americans who still get almost all of their news from the
elite liberal media. That is the sad reality of our great
democracy today IMVHO.
