Adam,

Earnings are set to be announced next Tuesday. Estimates are for 11 cents. A takeover is always in the rumor mill for an underpriced company like Microcom, but I see Lucent as more of a possible suitor rather than Cisco. Considering, if you take the PE of this company projected against 1998 earnings (which is the cycle we will enter after one more quarter), it's at a paltry 14, whereas companies like Microcom normally trade between 25-30 PE's.
