Wow. Some brokerage houses are panicking and tightening margin requirements. Short putters are ending up with stocks suddenly in their accounts and underwater and not fully margined. Houses want their money by wire by midday Monday. Or else forced at-the-market selling which creates more accounts underwater.

That is how meltdowns happen. Listen for rumors of big players caught swimming naked while the tide suddenly went out.
