He told me over a year ago they price 'em off the spoos, I think.

But over the past winter even he said they were no longer in sync per his data.

There are so many things to consider; Implied Volatility, Demand, External Concerns relating to news or other markets....it's such a hodge podge that I can't tell.

An AMEX option trader once told me they had a method which I cannot recall. But he was not a MM, he was an Independent on the floor. One day after the AMEX closed he got me in and showed me all kindsa stuff behind the desks. He said, during the day, the MMs kept this area totally out of bounds to the floor brokers....they were constantly scanning the computers back there as they made markets.

Maybe it was "Mary Hartmann, Mary Hartmann", I don't know.
