Too bad it's always the next version that's going to solve all our problems. Windows 2000 runs great on it's own, but at the expense of not being able to run over half the programs and games that I'd like to run on it.

You must not have sat in on too many meetings where an MS product manager is negotiating for something with a vendor. In my opinion, MS throws it's weight around every chance it gets. It's the right thing to do for the company of course, but I think it's earned it's reputation.
