someone addressed this today. Maybe the ban should be not on short selling but on Algorithmic trading. I have given up on capitalism as we knew it. Govt must get ahead of this some way somehow. Tech wreck losses was my fault for speculating--i am innocent here. I followed various conservative strategies and they failed. And guys like martin sullivan of aig keep their golden parachutes.
