Carl, good stuff you post.

Companies like Compaq and Dell probably carry only 2-3 week supply of DRAMs because of just-in-time programs. So the Christmas season extends into December.

With all major DRAM manufacturers focusing on SDRAM manufacturing at the same time, I expect softness in the first half of '99.

Now if Micron is ahead of the yield game, then they should be in a good position and I expect they will be the price leaders. Time will tell.
