Elwood: I was thinking about IBM just today. I would be concerned that it has gone so high in such a short-time. But splits might be worth a premium. John is an ex-IBM man, perhaps he will comment.

BTW CMPL must be near its nominal offering price by now - and lagging even on an up day for the internet stocks. Maybe a buying opportunity for a bullish post-Christmas shopping report. (Then again, technical manuals are hardly Christmas gift material).
