I guess I just can't learn. In addition, thanks for your certainty and clarity about the future. I am sure you know that Cyrix is not financially viable. I also recognize your prescience that claims "No one wants CYRX or AMD inside."

Maybe you have been living too long in the US and are too rich. THe rest of the world, and I will also bet soon, much of the US, will be buying on price and performance, rather than slogans. I also was a shareholder of INTC between 1990-1995. I agree that in the early, mid nineties that there really wasn't any competition. That is not the case now. INTC is a great company, and it is versatile. It just isn't nimble enough to maintain these margins and profits with someone selling an equivalent or better technology for less than half the price. In 1990, there were claims by AMD that they would be an INTC killer because they were going to have a chip to compete. They never did get that chip out the door, and I am still awaiting viable competition for the Pentium class CPU's from AMD. Not the case with Cyrix. They designed their own, it works, and it out performs the equivalent INTC version. Actually, it outperforms it at a lower Mhz rate.

I think you should just put your INTC stock away and assume that your current view will be true ten years from now.
