Scott:. Thanks for assuming I have clue - no , but I have a hunch

Today's IBD's drivel on MSFT OS was obsoleted long ago when AAPL's then CTO Ms. E. Hancock stated AAPL would soon be two companies.

One would be a 32-bit Mac OS company and a new RISC based OS software company was to emerge soon . Notice Mr. J ommited this at MacWorld.

The stock price decline seems to be company driven . 1st a warning laden 10 Q and then multiple news releases to assure coverage.

Sounds reminescient of the Jobs 1.5 mill share filing opera . The intent may be to give the new board a good stock warrant price .

This BS (Avie etc.) will continue . Before selling, a loyalist should consider their 28% tax bite and be sure the ole prince has also sold .

Mr. Du Pont may be the board's Mr. Big and the 8/21/97 JAVAWORLD conference may shed some light on other Rhapsody players.

Best regards, Jim K.
