Truff,

The way I'm handling this month is by saying to myself 'I can always carryover the losses to offset the BIG profits this puppy is going to make me next year! Go IOM! At least that takes some of the sting out of it for me.

You, Gary, et al, and I walk a narrow tightrope when we trade options. BUT we know that. However, some of the readers of this thread may not appreciate just how narrow that rope can be. They may see options as an easy path to big bucks. Well, when we 'talented amateurs' (let's face it that's what we are), stumble and fall into that "90% of all options expire worthless" trap.... well hopefully that may just hold back someone who should not be trading options.

One of the things I like about this thread, in particular, is that most folks seem to be honest about their losses and their pains... not everyone here has only profitable positions that are triples. Being honest enough to say "Oops, I f**ked up this month." shows an integrity that is refreshing in an open forum where no one can really confirm what anyone says.

We got burned this month. OK. So dust off, drink some gator-aid (vodka optional), grab a hot shower, and get back to the charts, tables, tea leaves, etc and get ready for Monday and next month.

Ben A.
