I believe ACLS's investment in SEN, the JV with Sumitomo, is worth more then the market cap at this point. I'll have to do a little more investigating on this end but I remember something like $150 Million as ACLS's portion...but that number could be way off. Let me see what I can find.

Their new products haven't been well received by the market place, not much is being bought at this time anyway, so its premature to write off their technology, imo. Sumitomo wanted the company for this technology, so there must be some value there. I believe they've been fighting it out with VSEA and we've seen how far their stock price has fallen (down to $20/share). Obviously, the headwinds in the SCE sector and the Ion implant subsector are going to be tough for the next 6 to 8 quarters.

There are definitely issues that the company has to overcome but, like I wrote, I am willing to wait it out.

We'll see......
