During these difficult days for our thread and begging the indulgence
of the good fellows in this forum, I take the liberty of reprising a
segment of post #4068. That segment attempts, however feebly,
to offer a re-statement of purpose with respect to this topic.
A search of the archives at Silicon Investor reveals the dry bones of
legion defunct threads. Let us hope that this forum-- now in its six-
teenth month and having flourished, arguably, during Brinker's finest
hours-- avoids that ghostly fate and continues to be emblematic of
the best that SI StockTalk has to offer.
