I was really impressed to hear Dr. Paul Jacobs talking about how great BREW is for providers. Also after hearing about some of the new LBS services they seemed to suggest are almost hear I went to my Sprint PCS handset and tried to subscribe to the Mapquest Trial Demo on my set. The response was that there was an error and one could not do subscribe on this device. That is when I knew for sure that he must be right about the benefits of BREW! (Sprint I cry for you after I see BREW and EVDO coming down the pike at Verizon (and as a FON shareholder I cry for myself)).
