Crawford is pretty much a shithole. That said, it probably seems like a bucolic, slightly hilly paradise compared to the Texas he's from, Midland/Odessa, which is flat as a pool table and even more of a shithole, having been throughly raped by oil men and refiners. Seeing a tree around there is cause for celebration! I guess we shouldn't expect too much of Bush on any level.
