Apparently you also forgot that Intel would rather settle disputes than go into a long and drawn-out court battle. But hey, in your mind, a settlement must mean a total admission of guilt, right?

I think the issue is a lot less black-n-white than you think. I can't say whether Intel was completely innocent or not, mainly because I don't know the details, and I don't get paid to, either. But I can tell you that it's hypocritical to point out this lawsuit, yet look the other way when AMD was copying Intel's 486 right down to the errata.
