I think it's nonsense....we didn't have inflation to raise costs of goods because of productivity efficiencies? So this economist wants to kill the wealth effect so people can't afford low priced goods? wait this is confusing<g> Too many goods too many employed people chasing them? wait that doesn't work? We need high priced goods that unemployed people can't afford! That's how you make a proper recession!

....ahhh that's the ticket!
