HP and Com21 working together . . . HP's Telecom division made an announcement at the Western Cable TV Show in Anaheim that HP and Com21 are working together to make Com21's ComPORT cable modem part of HP "Broadband Internet Delivery System" (BIDS). I'm guessing, based on WIND's recent announcement of the 3COM and Com21 design wins for cable modems, that the HP/Com21 announcement is therefore related to WIND, as I assume the ComPORT will be using VxWorks.
