Stu:

I remember that they've already installed Gig-ethernet for the army. I'd forgot when I read the Packard announcement yesterday. Packard is the company that just hired the head of manufacturing from Fore. I think Packard has a ways to go to catch MRVC. Indicates that everyone is looking to Gig-ethernet as a major growth area.

I see a lot of criticism regarding the marketing from MRVC. A couple of points in support of mgmt (not that the criticism is not valid but there are two sides to every point) .
1) You can only grow a company so fast. You can't complain about this company's sales and profit growth since its inception.
2) You can only market your product to the extent you can meet demand. My point is maybe we're not seeing the marketing because MRVC wouldn't be able to supply the increased demand from additional marketing efforts (I know thats the type of problem you love to have but you can't alienate your customers if you promise something and can't meet it).
3) The secondary will be for increasing capicity (a safe assumption on my part) to meet the expected growth in fast ethernet and gig ethernet.
4) Visit the NBASE web site vs. MRVC's. Obviously a problem with both and I'm sure mgmt is trying to figure out what to do about this identity issue. I'm sure at this point with growth off the wall, this is not as high on mgmt's priority list as some investors. Of course when growth slows we'll really hear the screaming on the thread.
5) You can obtain an investor package by submitting your personal data at the web site (a good informative package). A good PR and marketing package.
6) Remember this company is only a few years old. It doesn't have the marketing of a CSCO or COMS but give it time.
7) This company will continue to develop and grow. A 35 % increase in 6 months is nothing to sneeze at. IMO even with the offering this company will hit $45 this year. Roughly a 66% increase from where we are today.

This is one of those stocks where you can put it in your portfolio and not have to watch it every day (can you tell I own Fore). The risk is in competition with a lot of companies entering the gig-ethernet market.
