I have to agree with Claude in regards to MSFT's decline. Any stock that runs up $21 in 4 days is due for some profit taking.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "new market circumstances". AOL has rebounded off its 50dma every time this year. The only people who say it won't hold are the people shorting the stock.

Right now, technically, AOL could go either way. The 5 day stochs. osc. is under 20, but we are sitting in the middle of the Bollinger bands and the RSI is still on the high side, around 53. SO today AOL could go up $2 or down $2, but I'll be more than willing to bet that if we see the 50 dma again, aol will rebound. The only thing that could cause it to decline lower would be some sort of adverse news.
