Only with new computer purchases. Almost all existing PCs have a floppy already. I suspect a lot of zip drives are being bought by
existing users. Occasionally I assemble new PCs. I can by a 3 1/2
inch floppy drive for $25 in quantities of one. So no big deal, put a zip
and a floppy in the unit. Even in the el cheapo $45 PC case there are
plenty of bays.

I have 2 PCs with 5 1/4 inch floppy drives that I very seldom use.
I use my 3 1/2 inch floppy drive a lot less these days. A lot of stuff
loads via CDROM.
