you don't need to buy it before
if you are a fast daytrader
you buy within seconds of the announced "good Buy" words...
the stock went up over a dollar in the next 15 minutes or so
a daytrader would hold it for a short time, as soon as it downtics, it is a sell, or place the sell order for what ever your planned profit is.

I made about 3/8 on that "buy" rec of UCMP, did not hold out for more, as I have found "greed kills"
a very profitable trade, thank you CNBC.
