You know, I'm really sorry for Craig. I would have felt sorry for him had he lived in the closet all his life, with the pain and frustration attendent to repressing his own nature. But as soon as he started speaking out against gays and voting against their rights, he became more of an object of scorn in my eyes. Cowardice is one thing; exorcising it by lashing out against The Other (who is really him) is quite another.
