Randy-
IDT started ClearLogic, and Al was chosen to manage it. When I saw that he resigned from IDT's board I called up a friend of mine at the company to ask what happened. He said that Al was in charge of a skunkworks project. Given the company's regard for him, I figured that the project must be something truly significant. That got me thinking that IDT might be doing some uProc work in cooperation with AMD (this was quite a few months back), with Al heading up the project. Well, I was only 1/3 right. When I saw my friend again at the shareholder meeting he still wouldn't tell me what Al was up to, so now we find out.

Incidentally, I still haven't heard all of the product announcements which I've been led to expect, although I've heard a few which came totally out of the blue.
