Gottfried,

i heard some of bob brinker show today...he mentioned how Asia might have a recession in 2001. back in 1998 i was caught off guard during the Asian Crisis and my semi's got hit hard.

if Asia has a recession, we might have much lower to go on the semi's. do you know of any indicators or indexes that we can keep an eye on to predict the strengths of economies in Asia?
