This may be so, but they are learning fast. Just checked my iPhone 4 - yes, it's made in China. They are not standing in place, and in time competition will continue - on all levels. When Chinese Premier Hu Jintao met the President's daughter Sasha, he was heard to comment, "you're a nice little girl. How many iPhones can you assemble in an hour?"
