Senator Paul Co-Sponsors Term-Limit Legislation
Legislation to hold Members of Congress to two terms in the Senate, six terms in the House

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Senator Rand Paul (Ky.) today announced his co-sponsorship of a constitutional amendment placing term limits on Members of the U.S. Congress. The legislation, S.J. Res. 1, which was introduced by Sen. David Vitter of Louisiana, would place a limit on the amount of time a Member of the U.S. House or Senate may serve in office to a maximum of 12 years per chamber.

β€œIn fulfilling yet another promise I made to the people of Kentucky, I am co-sponsoring this term-limit legislation to reduce the politics as usual in Washington,” Sen. Paul said today.
