July 5th redux. The reaction to the Intel news bears incredible similarity to the reaction to July 4th: nothing REALLY bad happened. There was no 'good' news, just the lack of horrific news. Such logic does not supply the foundation for a sustainable rally. My gut says we'll have another triple digit loss in the Dow today, and INTC, along with AMAT and the rest of the IC sector, will close significantly lower.
