When i am in brooklyn visiting white son and chinese wife, no couples are uniracial. All the offspring are gorgeous. Back in my Hebrew school days, i remember thinking what God did with the Tower of Babel with everyone speaking a different language is what God did when he sent us out to four corners of the earth, looking quite different. Its our job to make one world, one people, one language--preferably english because i am too stupid and old to learn another. I am thrilled obama is running as the first clean black candidate--if his veep is joe biden, we will be hearing that a lot. Whether he wins or not depends on how well his policies are received in the end. I think i can vote for him now because his economic policies if not his ideology are pretty centrist and mccains vietnam/cold war mentality disturbs me. I dont want Hugh or Inode in the WH and i worry mccain is too much like them.
