Another Greenspan post International markets seem strong in most places based on your posts. Greenspan not only is going to be a warrior against US recession but we know how a managable, even small US recession, can quickly spread. That is the real danger here, a recession that becomes what amounts to a world wide snowball coming down the mountain. Regardless of what is done tomorrow this is the real danger we face. Some of us think that now is the time to take dramatic action.
