Dear Dunce, Yeah, we met an anti-American nut in eastern Turkey not far from the Iraq border who was drunk and looking for trouble. I don't like trouble in foreign countries. I try avoid it. One time we lied about nationality to avoid a fight. What would you have done? Gotten into it and done 5 years in a Turkish hellhole? Soon after, we met some Israelis who were travelling in Turkey AS ISRAELIS. They said they had had no problems. I tend to believe them. The Turks are generally level-headed and prefer peace to trouble. They helped us numerous times out of scrapes. See my other posts. You may be proud to be an American but the rest of us are not proud you are. Now go hide up on your mountain away from civilization and the rest of us and stay there.
