robert, Re: I get it! IE was bad for consumers because they got it for free! aaaaaaaaaaaa! No the rationale behind is that by offering it free, they will drive competitor out of business and later may charge whatever they like. But the history for this market showed otherwise. Back in the days of DOS/Windows 3.1 one paid much more to get the equivalent of 95/98. I remembered I need to install some package in order to have TCP/IP stack which alone cost more than 95/98 or W2K. So may be Microsoft had used some wrong tactics but the consumer didn't seem to be hurt so far. Gary
