Excuse me, but what on earth are you talking about. I was referring to situations like the one in the Middle Ages when the Catholic priests engaged in taking over pagan Europe exhorted the husbands to beat their wives (from the pulpit), had laws passed so that women could not practice medicine, and passed judgment on innocent women, deciding that they were witches, and should be burned at the stake. In other words, not individuals who were unworthy Christians, but religion on an institutional and mass scale.

Of course, then there is the scandal of the role of the Catholic Church in Europe aiding the Nazis in slaughtering the Jews, because they did not like Jews. You will recall that the Pope has started apologizing for the role of the church in World War II.

There are so many more examples, but I am sure others can point them out more cogently.

What on earth does any of this have to do with child killers, incidentally? I don't get your logic.
