Harvey, This thread is indeed a quiet one. If you have read my previous posts, you can figure out what my thinking on Aerial is. I sold most of my shares a while back, but kept a small position in it. I am hoping for a bounce like OMPT went through last week. In the meantime I have put my money in other places where there has been better movement. I am watching Aerial closely to see if anything develops. I also talk to their sales people regularly. There are two places very close to where I live where I can chat with them. I think Aerial is quite a good long term investment, but all this depends on how the other porviders increase their PCS offerings. I have a brother in law in Miami, who checked who the service providers are there. They are Sprint and PrimeCo. Both are on CDMA standard and thus incompatible with Aerial's GSM standard. Omnipoint will be in Miami early next year and is compatible with Aerial. So is BellSouth and Powertel in your region. By the way, did you notice that with the big turmoil in stock prices last week, Aerial did not move much. This is good since I think it will only move up. It has seen its low (on my birthday last April). Don't worry about the traffic on Aerial thread here in SI. Omnipoint has more presence and that thread is also relatively quiet. I also watch the price of Western Wireless (WWCA) and made some money on it during a brief blip few weeks ago. You might study that company also. If you like Aerial, OMPT and WWCA are good too.
