Do you know if this is true? I thought it was incredible that the congress could do this without so much as a boo from the media. Here in Texas - the republicans have removed term limits from their platform. I have a firm policy to vote against incumbants - no matter how much I like them. I remember the uproar that the junior congresspersons were causing a couple of years ago when the fight about budget cutting was going on and they were the only ones trying to hold their ground. I don't think we are served well with Professional Politicians. Give me the two termers. Impartial sound judgement and the ability to carryout the desires of the people does not require a professional that learns how to cater to the special interest groups in order to get re-elected!! <JMHO>
