Vor, one good reason: you can't short a new issue. It's not marginable. Have you or anyone seen a good comparison of Rhythms vs. Covad vs. Northpoint? I'll probably have to weed thru the S-1's and press releases and do it myself, but it'd be nice to have a starting point.

Since these are all BLEEDING red, and have massive expenses for years to come--but have huge expectations that no one can PROVE wrong, they seem like just the types of companies that this market will run up into the stratosphere <gg>

It's interesting to look at who has invested in these companies, and who sits on their boards, as well as the executive staffs. Impressive.
