For what it's worth, biotech companies sue each other more than any other industry i can think of. I'm not at all familiar with this particular one, but i'm sure it's not the only one facing Amgen. I'm willing to bet that Genentech itself is being sued by someone as I type this. Sort of like a daisy-chain of lawsuits. Great for lawyers, usually a non-event for the companies. This of course isn't to say Amgen will win or lose, simply a general observation. nate.
