Hi Voltaire! To the Porch, From the Transom. <g> If you don't remember me, I was with Uncle Frank at the last DELL earnings celebration in the middle of SF Bay. He called you to find out the results. It was then, that he told me about QCOM. Great recommendation to say the least. My personal opinion is that the y2k " problem " will be the greatest farce ever foisted on the American people. My feelings on y2k are about the same. Like I told Frank back then, I plan on looking for some real bargains late this year. If not, well thats ok too. I've been working hard on diversification of my portfolio, since selling a major portion of my DELL holdings 3 months ago. (Dells doing much better now) I am sitting on about 50% cash and will probably increase that near term, depending on the market. I know most of your picks and will be adding some of them to my portfolio soon, I'm sure. ...buy the quality on the dips and get ready for one of the greates rallies of all time after the New Year. I'm getting ready! <g> I love your post on CNBS! 52 replies? Is that a record or what? Anyhow, just wanted to say hello, and ramble on some. Cool thread! Uncle Frank is a character, eh?
