I believe spirituality in the western world is severely lacking. So here is my question which I hope stays on target with the main point of this thread.

Fact: Christians are supposed to be disciples of Christ. But I wonder how many Christians give their Lord the time of day? If one is supposedly another's disciple, about how much time a day should one spend with their mentor? And a follow up question would be, how much time on average does the typical North American Evangelical spend with Jesus?

It is my assessment that religion and spirituality are not the same. There are many religious, but few spiritual. Religious persons are those who adhere to rules and customs. Spiritual persons are those who develop an inner stillness and seek to nurture that life that is within.
