they charged me 5% Oh, that's Chase for you! I have never got cash using a credit card, so I have no knowledge of that. I use my Costco American Express card for Costco and Safeway. Keeps all my food purchases on that card. I am a mile from my bank, and pull out cash there when I need it from the ATM. I have my cards on auto pay and never have a balance.
