O/T Michael Jordan's 4.38 40-yard dash: sports.yahoo.com Anyone who does hand timing knows you add 0.25 seconds to the hand timed number to get the electronic timing equivalent, so his 4.38 would be a 4.63. It's still fast, but not elite. A basketball court is a little more than 30-yards, so acceleration over shorter distance is more important than a 40-yard dash anyway.
