Depends on what you're used to, I suppose.

I recently purchased MS 6.5 and after playing with it for a couple of weeks went back to SC4. It just seems a lot simpler to use and gets the job done equally well. The fact that it is still 16-bit is a pain but it looks like Omega will have the 32-bit version out later this year. I agree that if you use SC you want to use Dial/Data as your provider. Couple that to the Omega quarterly CD-ROM subscription.
