Barry,
PR firms are paid in advance and work through the end of their contract. CIR isn't getting any new information from NIAR, they are no longer representing them, just filling out contract. Thats why when you call they say they will have to call the company and ask about whatever your question is. The phone number on the press release posted here is at the company and not CIR.
I think a new PR firm will be hired soon or maybe NIAR will handle it themselves.
