Good morning X, I feel so bad for what happened to you on SI recently.. You just told me you were so happy this New Year... But there is still 95% of the year left to get the SI portion back on track, which is only a small part of your life I know, but in this day and age it becomes a part of life.. Just as movies, radio, TV, telephone etc.. became an important part.. all starting out small.
""Does the hatred still surprise you? It does me. How do people get so dark and twisted and fixated? I've no idea, ""
No unfortunately it doesn't. Because this type of personality in this type of forum is not into "personal growth".. That takes effort, incentive and energy.. So I do not expect a change here.. In 3-D, it would be a different story.. they would never make it around progressive people, They would be shunned completely.. Here it is difficult, to avoid their shots..
In fact shunning here is best medicine for their behavior as they thrive on insult and argument.. They whine on being shut out from the progressive threads.. They try to lure progressives to their hangouts so they can trash them.. One time, I happened to notice a audio conferenece being set up by them.. And they were only begging for liberals to join in to trash them...
One thing I have noticed is ..We sure as hell, don't whine about joining their trash threads... A recent example, I seen constant angst among them for not being allowed to join a ENE thread.. Some guy finally started one I noticed last night.. I checked it this morning.. Guess what? It degenerated into one or two sentence insults already..
Moving onward and upward.. We watched Bagger Vance last night.. I had some trepidation about renting it, because it centered around golf, and I'm no golfer.. But my friend recommended it the other night and he's no golfer.. We enjoyed it. It was inspirational and it even had a little dance scene..gg.. And then I seen Robert Redford produced it.. If anyone could make a golf movie work, it had to be him..
And now it occurred to me.. Why don't they make a movie about an aging runner struggling to stay in shape, always dreaming to complete the Western States 100 under 24 hours to get a silver belt buckle ?..
When one day, out in the hills, he runs(no pun) into Lauren Hutton, who offers to be his personal trainer.. To make a long story short, he accepts ( what man wouldn't ?, gg) and completes it. After a day of rest, they go out in Lake Tahoe and boogie the night away to "Stayin Alive". We will then have our dance scene.. gg... Hmmm.. A good name, but I hear it's taken..
Oh BTW.. We will both play ourselves...g..
Well time for the market..
Take care ..and remember that intellect, energy and vibes of yours will easily overcome the dark side..
